Mr. de Koker holds an Hons. B-Diac. SW, MSW and is an international Credentialed Addiction Practitioner, ISSUP Member, and SUD universal treatment curriculum master trainer to South Africa. He is a Social Worker in Private Practice and he specializes in drug use. He is involved in rendering clinical counselling services in the drug use field, supervision of addiction practitioners, training, advocacy and program development.

Mr. de Koker is passionate about drug use services and being a voice for marginalized drug users and their families. He is currently enrolled for a PhD in Social Work with a specialization in drug use at the University of Stellenbosch. He has an interest in drug use policy development that speaks to the need for specialized services in this regard.
